Teaching Practice Observation
As part of the B.Ed. internship programme, a teaching practice observation was conducted at Champad West U.P. School, Meethale, Champad, Kerala, on 02 March 2026 at 11:15 AM. The observation aimed to understand the teaching-learning process, school environment, and student participation.
The school campus was neat, well-maintained, and provided a friendly atmosphere for learning. The infrastructure was adequate, with properly arranged classrooms and basic facilities required for effective teaching. The presence of educational posters and displays contributed to an engaging learning environment.
During the observation, the teaching-learning process was found to be interactive and student-centered. The teacher explained the lesson clearly using simple language, which helped students grasp the concepts easily. Students were attentive, cooperative, and actively involved in classroom activities. The teacher maintained discipline and encouraged participation through questioning and interaction.
The observation highlighted the importance of effective communication skills, proper lesson planning, and classroom management. The student-teachers present during the observation maintained professionalism and showed enthusiasm in learning teaching techniques.
Overall, the observation was a valuable and enriching experience. It provided practical exposure to real classroom situations and helped in improving teaching skills and confidence.
