National Science Day Digital Poster Making Competition
The IQAC in association with the Science Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe organized a Digital Poster Making Competition in connection with the National Science Day celebration. The competition aimed to promote scientific awareness, creativity, and innovative thinking among students.
Students enthusiastically participated in the competition by designing creative digital posters that highlighted the importance of science in everyday life, scientific innovations, and the contributions of scientists to society. The event provided an opportunity for students to express their understanding of scientific concepts through visual representation and digital creativity.
After careful evaluation of the submitted posters, the winners of the competition were announced. Ameena P. K., First Year English, secured the First Prize for her outstanding digital poster. Rithina T., First Year Biological Science, won the Second Prize, while Vismaya K. K., First Year Social Science, secured the Third Prize.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K., Principal, with the support of Mr. Arun U., Assistant Professor, as the IQAC Coordinator, and the members of the Science Club. The competition successfully encouraged students to integrate creativity with scientific thinking and contributed to the meaningful celebration of National Science Day in the college.
