International Women’s Day Poster Making Competition

In connection with the International Women’s Day Celebration, Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, organized a Poster Making Competition on 3 March 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in the College Auditorium. The programme was conducted by the IQAC in association with the Asthra Women’s Cell as part of promoting awareness about women’s empowerment and gender equality.

The poster making competition aimed to encourage creativity and artistic expression among students while highlighting the significance of women’s contributions to society. Students enthusiastically participated in the event and presented creative posters that reflected themes related to women’s empowerment, equality, and the achievements of women in various fields. The activity provided an opportunity for students to express their ideas visually and to spread positive messages about the role of women in social development.

The competition witnessed active participation from student teachers, and the posters displayed creativity, thoughtful ideas, and social awareness. The event also created a platform for students to discuss and reflect on the importance of respecting and empowering women in all aspects of life.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal of MCCTE, who served as the General Coordinator. Mr. Arun U, Assistant Professor, acted as the IQAC Coordinator, while Mr. Vipin K, Assistant Professor, served as the Union Coordinator. The programme was also coordinated by Mrs. Nyji O, Assistant Professor and Women Cell Coordinator.
