World Heritage Day, which is also known as the International Monuments and Sites Day, celebrates the work carried out by the ICOMOS-International Council on Monuments and Sites. The day is all about increasing the awareness of the importance of the diversity of cultural heritage and preserving Nation for generations in the future.

Ancient monuments and buildings are an asset to us all around the world. Mahe co-operative college of teacher education, Mahe celebrated this day on April 18th 2024. The programme was led by English department students. A talk was conducted by Swetha T.P. After the talk a game named JAM also known as just a minute was conducted. To play Just a Minute you must speak for a minute on a given subject. If you hesitate, repeat yourself, or deviate, an opponent will interrupt and take the subject. Points are gained for speaking when the minute is up, correctly interrupting, or being wrongly interrupted.

From each department students were given topics and asked to present the topic following the rules of the game. The math department student won the game.
