Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe
Date: 27 February 2024 | Time: 2:00 PM
The Guidance and Counselling Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, conducted a Study Skills and Time Management Tips session on 27 February 2024 at 2:00 PM. The programme aimed to equip student teachers with effective strategies to enhance their academic performance and manage their time efficiently.
The session began with a warm welcome by the club coordinator, who emphasised the importance of structured study habits and self-discipline for academic success. The resource person led an informative session covering various aspects of study skills, such as goal setting, note-making techniques, memory strategies, concentration improvement, and effective reading methods.
Key time management principles—including prioritisation, scheduling, avoiding procrastination, and maintaining a balanced routine—were also discussed. Practical examples and demonstrations helped students understand how to apply these techniques in their daily academic activities.
Interactive discussions, reflective exercises, and group activities encouraged students to identify their personal learning styles and areas needing improvement. The session motivated participants to adopt organised study patterns and develop a positive approach towards managing academic workload.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person, faculty members, and students for their active involvement and contribution to the success of the session.
