World Embryologist Day, also known as World IVF Day, is celebrated on July 25 th to commemorate the birth of Louise Brown, the first IVF baby, and to recognize the vital role of embryologists in assisted reproductive technology (ART). It highlights the advancements in reproductive medicine and the contributions of embryologists in helping couples overcome infertility.
The day raises awareness about infertility and available treatment options like
IVF, encouraging open discussions and reducing the stigma surrounding fertility issues. World Embryologist Day provides an opportunity to educate the public about the science behind IVF and the role of embryologists in creating families.
