WORLD DAY FOR INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE

REPORT OF SOCIAL SCIENCE PROGRAMME

On July 17, the Social Science Department of MAHE Co-Operative College of Teacher Education organized a meaningful program to observe the World Day for International Justice. The theme of the program was "Justice is the foundation of peaceful societies". This day is observed worldwide to raise awareness about the importance of justice in protecting human rights and promoting peace and equality.

The program started in the college auditorium with a warm welcome speech. Our respected Principal delivered the inaugural address, in which she spoke about how justice is a fundamental value in society. She highlighted that justice ensures equality among people and helps to resolve conflicts without violence. Her words inspired the audience to reflect on how each person can contribute to

building a fair and just world.

Several students delivered speeches expressing their thoughts on the importance of justice and its relevance in today's world. Each speaker brought a unique perspective, emphasizing how justice is not

only about legal systems but also about fairness in our daily lives. They spoke about the role of individuals, communities, and nations in ensuring justice for all.

The highlight of the program was the powerful and inspiring speech delivered by Anamika C.K. from the Social Science Department. In her speech, she explained that justice begins with individual actions — how we treat others, how we respect differences, and how we respond to unfair situations. She reminded the audience that while international justice systems play an important role, change also

comes from ordinary people standing up for what is right. Anamika encouraged everyone to be more conscious of their responsibilities toward others and to promote fairness in their own lives. Her words were heartfelt and left a strong impression on everyone present.

The program ended on a thoughtful note, with the audience reflecting on the importance of justice in creating a peaceful and equal society. The event was successful in spreading awareness about the value of justice and inspiring everyone to take small steps toward fairness and equality.

In conclusion, the World Day for International Justice program organized by the Social Science Department was an enriching experience for all. It reminded us that justice is not just the duty of courts and governments, but a responsibility that lies with each one of us. The speeches, especially the one by Anamika C.K., motivated everyone to think about their role in building a better and more just a world.
