The Physics Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, conducted a Speech Session on 24 May 2024 at 9:45 AM. The programme aimed to enhance students’ scientific curiosity and communication skills by providing a platform to share ideas related to physics and its relevance in everyday life.
The event commenced with a welcome address by the club coordinator, who highlighted the significance of encouraging students to articulate scientific concepts confidently. During the session, selected student speakers delivered speeches on various physics-related topics such as fundamental laws of motion, renewable energy, advancements in modern physics, space exploration, and the role of physics in technology.
Each speaker presented their topic with clarity, using examples and relatable explanations to make the concepts engaging. The session provided an opportunity for students to develop public-speaking skills, deepen their understanding of scientific ideas, and build self-confidence.
Faculty members appreciated the efforts of the participants and offered constructive feedback to help them refine their presentation skills. The speeches inspired thoughtful discussions and enriched the learning experience for all attendees.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the principal, faculty members, coordinators, and students for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the event successful and meaningful.
