Organised by the Physics Club
Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe
Date: 28 May 2024 | Time: 11:00 AM
The Physics Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, conducted an Audio Presentation on 28 May 2024 at 11:00 AM. The programme was organised to promote innovative learning strategies by using audio-based resources to enhance students’ understanding of physics concepts.
The event began with a welcome address by the club coordinator, who highlighted the value of multimodal learning and the importance of incorporating audio material as an effective teaching tool. Students were introduced to the objectives of the activity and encouraged to actively engage with the content presented.
During the session, selected audio clips related to various physics topics—such as sound waves, energy, motion, the solar system, and famous scientific discoveries—were played. Students listened attentively and were asked to reflect on the content, identify key ideas, and relate them to classroom learning.
After each audio segment, participants engaged in discussions, sharing their interpretations and clarifying concepts with the guidance of faculty members. The activity helped improve listening skills, conceptual understanding, and scientific interpretation abilities.
The session provided an enriching learning experience by demonstrating how audio resources can make complex concepts more accessible and engaging. It also encouraged future teachers to explore creative ways of integrating audio tools in their own classrooms.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the principal, faculty members, coordinators, and students for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the event meaningful and successful.
