National Voters Day
National Voters Day was observed at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe with the aim of creating awareness among students about the importance of voting in a democratic country. The programme was organized to encourage young people to participate actively in the electoral process and to understand their responsibilities as responsible citizens.
During the programme, students were made aware of the significance of voting and the role of citizens in strengthening democracy. The session emphasized the importance of registering as voters and exercising the right to vote responsibly. Discussions were held on how each vote contributes to shaping the future of the nation and promotes transparent and accountable governance.
